Street Wannabes interviewed Murder Tag (Mike Borchardt, Stephanie Gunther and Carlo Minchillo) about their new 2 song S/T EP. We also discussed the formation of the band, the origin around Jen Meller’s movie (where the band was created), the difference between the two songs “Full Moon” & “Eternal”, the songwriting process, working together during the pandemic, playing in other bands & influences to Murder Tag, plans for the future, mixing by Jeff Berner (who also played on Eternal), mastering by Carl Saff, Carlo interning at Studio G, the photo shoot with Jen Meller (help with Neesmith), Scott Einhorn (Radio Free Brooklyn), making a group playlist of their interests, Brooklyn Drum Collective Records, Mike playing live on Sunday with Rebelmatic and much more!

The Story:
Murder Tag is a supernatural themed supergroup comprised of musicians Mike Borchardt (guitar, backing vocals), Stephanie Gunther (bass, vocals), and Carlo Minchillo (drums, guitar, keyboard). Borchardt is the vocalist and guitarist of Nihiloceros and guitarist in Treads, Gunther the vocalist and bassist of Desert Sharks, and Minchillo the drummer of The Planes, Glass Slipper, and creator of the Brooklyn Drum Collective.
