PowerSnap on Bedroom Eyes (Ep. 17)
“Three months ago, we hung out with our good pals PowerSnap in Justin’s backyard for an easy breezy outdoor session. We got to hear some slightly stripped-down songs from their upcoming EP and afterward we talked about what it means to be a band, interrupted. In a conversation that speaks to the common experience of most musicians, we discussed what they left behind, what they hope for in the future, and how they’ve been faring in the meantime. Spoiler alert! Romi learned karate and Mario broke all his bones. We’ve been told these facts are unrelated but if there’s any correlation, Noga’s not telling. Get ready for the most dangerous game on this action-packed episode of Bedroom Eyes!” – Bedroom Eyes (Published December 11, 2020)

THE JOHNS – “WISTFUL PART I & II” PREMIERE ON LOOK AT MY RECORDS
“We’re excited to premiere the new video for “Wistful Part I and II” from Brooklyn garage-tropicalia band, The Johns. Back in February, the band released their eclectic debut album, Forge, which includes the songs featured in the video as its final two tracks. With the onset of the pandemic in early March, The Johns were grounded following a European tour in February, and frontman Johnny Dydo’s partner, Erica Schreiner, had to cease work on her film, The Special People. Looking for a creative outlet, the two banded together to work collaboratively on the video for “Wistful Part I and II” while quarantined. The end product is a captivating, multi-perspective video that captures one of The Johns’ last live performances and interposes it with various scenes shot from inside Dydo and Schreiner’s apartment.” (*more to read..) – Look At My Records 12/17
